I just wanted to say that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed your concert in Fort Myers, power outage and all. The impromptu acapella was terrific. [] You guys come across as straight from the heart. You are all great individual performers as well. Your medley that included the Mills Brothers stuff was fantastic.
I am a 61 year old do-wopper from South Jersey. I was in the Marines when the Duprees hit the charts and it was my kind of harmony.
I looked at your schedule and I see that you spend most of your time close to home. I hope you hit west Florida again soon. Maybe you can get someone to open for you so we can have a little more of your songs. My original Duprees album is a little worn since I got it in 1965, but I keep using it to make tapes to take in the car and play on the boom box.
Thanks again for the wonderful performance and looking forward to seeing you in this area again.

Comments: Hello to all of you. Al especially wanted to let you know that he really enjoyed your concert last Friday night. It was such a treat to be transported back in time and given a taste of those days, when romance was all around us. Everything about your performance transported the audience to a very special place and time, even if for just a little while. The music, arrangements, choreography--and seeing all of you "decked out" in tuxedos--all those elements gave the show its own special magic. The "glow" from that evening lasted long after. Like Al said to Jimmy, "Only Italians could make us all feel like we've known each other for years and years." We also got to thank Phil as we were leaving the theater (he was still outside enjoying the beautiful Florida evening--or maybe still cooling off because we had a power failure in the middle of the concert. And finally we got to mingle and meet and the lines were out the door to get your autographs, including my grandson Jorgie..the picture you took with him he loved, and we were fighting over the brochure to see who took it home, he said "I got the signatures TA"!..but I said..hey these are my guys...its ok he's lending it to me:>.. and thanks for the power outage..I got to hear Jimmy and you all sing "GLORIA"...of course in (I'm the yeller").."A capella!!"..and you sure did.!!!.and it came out..fabulous, you didn't need your Glen Miller band, but they are also sensational !..Thank you for the pictures, your warmthness and dedication to your #1fan and fans. The pic we took all together,Barry cut out Phil so I'm going to need another shot of all of us :> Love you guys!! By the way, I got sort of a fan club going myself, thanks to you Tony for telling the crowd about "Daisy"..onstage, now they all want to know how to communicate with you's.. SEE YA SOON !.. Comments: What an absolutely incredible show. We came primarily to see the Lettermen (who were wonderful) but we all agreed afterwards, the Duprees stole the show. Your individual talents are superb. The energy and voices were so entertaining. But when the power went out you showed true professionalism. Everyone around was so grateful and in awe of your giving spirit. The acapella song stole the show.
We can't wait for your return to the FL west coast. Come back soon!
