I WAS VISITING LONG ISLAND LAST SUMMER AT MARJORIE POST PARK MASSAPEQUA AND I SAW YOU GUYS. YOU WERE GREAT. I AM GOING BACK TO LONG ISLAND TO HAVE A REUNION WITH THE CHAPERONES THAT I SANG WITH FOR 14 YEARS. I WAS THE ONLY FEMALE VOCALIST THAT SANG WITH THE CHAPERONES (TONY, FRANKIE AND RAY). Comments: I was fortunate enough to have a front table at the Sands this past weekend while you were recording your CD. You are all absolutely fabulous, charming, witty, sexy and oh so entertaining. only one word explains how your performances were...EXCELLENT!!!! Tommy Petillo's voice and personality is an extrodinary addition. Have seen you thru the yrs. at Ocean Grove Audit., and have seen you each time at the Old Mill Inn and also at The Lakeside Manor in Hazlet, this last time (Feb.), being the very best! Comments: I am one of the loyal and admiring followeres of the Duprees. I was at the show Saturday night at 7:00 and wanted to let you know that the show was fantastic! It was my first chance to see Tommy Petillo, and he was terrific! The sound now of the lead singer is much more like the orginal lead in the early days. Of course the background is always terrific and exactly like the days of old. The group has never
sounded better, and the personality exuded by you guys on stage was
great. Looking forward to seeing you again in the near future!! And again it was nice to see Mike Arnone again. I believe he went to Bloomfield College when I was there in the 60's. Again, a great show!!!!

Event Takes Place Wednesday, MAY 14th at Joey's Nightclub in Clifton.
Clifton, NJ - The Passaic-Clifton chapter of UNICO National will host it's second annual "Oldies" music festival fundraiser. It takes place on Wednesday, May 14th at Joey's Nightclub in Clifton and features live music by THE DUPREES. Doors open at 8:00pm and Showtime is at 10:15pm. DJ dancing will follow the show. All proceeds will be donated to Passaic-Clifton UNICO's scholarship fund.
UNICO, translated from Italian meaning "only one of its kind", is the largest Italian-American service club in the United States. For over 50 years the Passaic-Clifton Chapter has been promoting community service by granting scholarship awards, recognizing outstanding individuals and helping disabled children. UNICO's motto is "Service Above Self". "It is a great opportunity to see this fantastic band and help our community at the same time. We hope to top last year's attendance an we wish to thank our sponsor, Joey's Nightclub for their generous contribution." Said Ricky Bagolie, Chapter President.
Tickets, although limited, are available with a $15.00 donation in advance or a $20.00 donation at the door. Advance tickets may be obtained by contacting the Joey's box office (973) 773-2110 or UNICO Club President Ricky Bagolie at (201) 618-0508.
